Customs
Imports: Free Imports are as follows:
- 200 cigarettes or 225 Gms of tobacco or
cigars.
- One bottle of spirit and one bottle of wine each
not exceeding one litre (only for persons of 21 years and over). Duty
free but to be declared on arrival, one pair of binoculars, 1 still
camera and 6 rolls of unexposed film, 1 portable radio, broadcast receiver, 1
portable tape recorder, 1
portable typewriter and reasonable quantity of sports equipment.
Prohibited Imports
Firearms,
ammunition, explosives and indecent publications are prohibited imports. Strict
quarantine laws govern the import of plants, or parts of plants, e.g. fruits,
tubers, seeds, cuttings, plant products, and vegetable matter of soil, clay or
earth, animals and/or animal products.
Restricted Exports
Visitors are
not allowed to take out of the country human remains, artifacts of 30 years old
or over, traditional fighting swords, traditional tools, dancing ornaments or
